We provide services to Skilled Nursing Facilities, Hospitals, Hospice Organizations, Home Health Care Agencies, Dialysis Facilities, Free Standing Emergency Departments, and Retirement Communities. We also work directly with many major health plans and physician groups. Ohio Ambulance also provides EMT and Paramedic coverage for special events and organizations such as sporting events, conventions, and concerts.

Our Staff

Ohio Ambulance consists of highly qualified Parmedics, EMTs, Communication Center Specialists, and Dispatchers. Billing Representatives are available 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mon-Fri. These individuals assist our Customers in understanding what benefits and expenses are associated with our services.

Our fleet

Advanced Life Support Ambulance (ALS)

This ambulance is designed to transport patients that require the following services: administration of Intravenous therapy, airway maintenance, manual defibrillation / cardioversion, stabilization of pneumothorax conditions, endotracheal intubation, central line placement, cardiac pacing, chest decompression, surgical airway, intraosseous line, and cardiac (EKG) monitoring, as well as patients who are ventilator dependent. This service level is used in emergency and non-emergency situations. These vehicles are staffed with a minimum of one Paramedic and one Emergency Medical Technician.

Basic Life Support Ambulance (BLS)

This ambulance is designed to accommodate bed confined patients and patients who require such basic medical services such as; control of bleeding, splinting fractures, administration and monitoring of oxygen, treatment for shock, CPR, or emergency first-aid. This level of service can be used in emergency and non-emergency situations. These vehicles are staffed with a minimum of two Emergency Medical Technicians.
